Hello, my name is Shana and I am a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of healthcare experience. I studied in the United States, ultimately earning a Master of Science degree in 2006. I am also fluent in Dutch and registered to practice nursing in the Netherlands (BIG 29923587030). After working in large urban community health centers in New York City and Washington D.C., I moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2015 with my partner and our three young kids (pictured above).

My passion is supporting families and individuals as they engage with the healthcare system. I am particularly passionate about increasing access to care for vulnerable community members and I believe healthcare should be a human right for all.
